Other Considerations
Party Poker often has more players on its site than
many of their top competitors combined. During peak hours, it is common to
find 75,000+ players. That translates into availability of games at all
stakes, types, and styles at any time of day.
The play on Party
Poker ranges from decent at the higher stakes, to downright terrible at the
lower stakes. Intermediate players who swim the shallow waters looking for
fish often find themselves beaten by players who made awful calls but managed to
catch one of their few outs. Because so many bad players are calling
against the odds, be prepared to lose hands where you are a prohibitive favorite
on occasion when these players call you all the way and catch. That's the
price you will pay if you play poker at the lower stakes tables.
